AttractionTickets.com, an event ticket seller, is searching for a ‘professional theme park tester’ to try out their new rides before the opening of Universal’s latest theme park, Epic Universe. With Epic Universe set to open on 22 May 2025, the park will feature five immersive ‘worlds,’ including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s The Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How To Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.
Spanning 750 acres, the new park will offer new restaurants, attractions, retail spaces, and nature areas, along with thrilling rollercoasters and rides. Tickets for the grand opening are now available for purchase.
The sought-after job involves one lucky UK resident and a chosen friend flying out to experience, test, and rate all the new rides at Epic Universe. The chosen individuals will receive flights, transfers, accommodation at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel, $1,000 spending money each, and access to all other Universal parks during their seven-night stay.
During their week-long adventure, the theme park testers must review and document the best rides, snacks, photo opportunities, and entertainment offerings within the new park. The selected applicant must be ready to travel to Orlando, Florida, for the entire week, possess necessary travel documents, and be willing to be featured in photos and videos on social media channels and the company’s website.
To apply for this dream job, interested candidates must create a short video (no longer than three minutes) explaining why they would be an excellent theme park tester. The deadline for applications is 15 November 2024, with the chosen theme park tester set to be announced by 10 January 2025.
