TKO Group, the parent company of sports entertainment giants WWE and UFC, has announced a major acquisition deal. The company is set to purchase Professional Bull Riders, On Location, and IMG from Endeavor Group for a whopping $3.25 billion.
Professional Bull Riders is a renowned bull riding league that organizes over 200 live events annually, attracting approximately 1.25 million fans and reaching more than 285 million households across 65 territories. On Location specializes in providing premium experiences for fans attending a wide range of sporting events, including the Super Bowl, Ryder Cup, and NCAA Final Four. Additionally, IMG is a key player in distributing and producing sports content, selling media rights and brand partnerships, and offering consulting, digital services, and event management to prestigious clients such as the National Football League and National Hockey League.
TKO Group has stated that this acquisition will not only complement its current businesses but also extend its footprint in the premium sports market. Endeavor Group is set to receive around 26.14 million common units of TKO Operating Co. as part of the deal and will also subscribe for an equal number of shares of TKO’s Class B shares.
