Bellway Homes has recently welcomed two new apprentices and a graduate to its Scotland West Division based in Hamilton. Junior Boyd-McKee from Carluke and Alexandra Healy from Hamilton have joined as Apprentice Civil Engineer and Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, respectively. Both will be attending university remotely one day a week as part of their apprenticeship programme.
In addition to the apprentices, Ibrahim Mahmood, a Construction Graduate from Pollokshields in Glasgow, has also joined Bellway Homes. Ibrahim completed an honours degree in Construction Management at Glasgow Caledonian University. He is currently stationed at the company’s Ferry Grove development in Braehead, where he will participate in a two-year graduate program working across various departments and projects alongside other graduates.
All three new recruits have been assigned dedicated business mentors to guide them through their roles at Bellway Homes. The company is also a member of the Association of Apprentices, providing the candidates with the opportunity to connect with a community of apprentices across the UK, build networks, and receive additional training and advice.
