First picture of mum who died after being struck by car in Bellshill

The tragic death of a 41-year-old mother has shaken the community of Bellshill, as Clare Ritchie was struck by a car and killed on Friday evening. Emergency services rushed to Crossgates in the North Lanarkshire town after reports of a collision at 9.30 pm. Despite their efforts, Clare, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene.
