The Rotary Club of Castle Douglas has unveiled the details of Santa’s upcoming visit to the town as Christmas excitement continues to build. Santa will be touring the streets, aiming to meet as many children as possible in anticipation of the festive season.

Santa will be riding in a newly refurbished sleigh, generously provided by the Castle Douglas Men’s Shed. The community can look forward to Santa’s visit on Monday, December 9, Tuesday, December 10, and Wednesday, December 11. George Dickson from the Rotary Club of Castle Douglas expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming visits, stating that Santa and his helpers have organised specific times and locations for children to interact with Santa along the route.

The scheduled stops for Santa’s visits include various locations within the town with approximate timings, subject to weather conditions. The Rotary Club hopes to bring joy to as many children as possible during Santa’s tour around Castle Douglas. On Monday, December 9, the visits will include stops at Market Hill Car Park, Alvingham Avenue, and Whitelaw Drive among others. Tuesday, December 10, will see Santa visiting Marle Street, Cotton Street, and Dee Avenue, while Wednesday, December 11, will cover Miller Place, Whitepark Road, and Meadow View.
