The family of a Scottish nursery teacher who was tragically killed by a lorry driver expressed their heartbreak during a fatal accident inquiry. Chloe Morrison, 26, lost her life after being struck by the extended leg of a lorry driven by John O’Donnell while she was walking next to the A82 road at Kerrowdown near Drumnadrochit on October 25, 2019. O’Donnell was found guilty of causing Chloe’s death by careless driving after a six-day trial but was not given a jail sentence. Instead, he received 100 hours of unpaid work and a 12-month driving ban.
