The Scottish Government commended the school’s strategies at the launch event of the new national anti-bullying guidance aimed at schools across the country. Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, Jenny Gilruth, visited Cowie Primary along with Lorraine Glass, Director of respectme, to introduce the updated Respect for All Guidance as part of Anti-Bullying Week.
Earlier this year, Education Scotland highlighted Cowie Primary in a report for its successful efforts in preventing bullying and addressing conflict, which had been longstanding issues within the school community.
