A man has been found guilty of the murder of Kevan Doyle in Wishaw, bringing a sense of justice to the victim’s family after a two-year-long legal battle. Steven McGhee, aged 48, was convicted of the crime at the High Court in Glasgow on Thursday, November 14.
The tragic incident occurred when officers responded to reports of a serious assault at a property on Glencleland Road at around 8.55pm on Friday, October 28, 2022. Kevan Doyle, 43 years old, was discovered at the scene with fatal injuries and unfortunately passed away.
Steven McGhee was swiftly apprehended the following day and formally charged with the murder on Sunday, October 30.
