The event, which will see more than 60 tractors and trucks decorated in festive lights, is in memory of Gargunnock resident Heather McAllister, who tragically passed away at the age of 38. This initiative follows a successful tractor run earlier this year that raised over £5,000 for Chest, Heart, and Stroke Scotland in memory of former Arnprior blacksmith Bobby Gunn.
Organised by Bob Wilson from Kippen, the Christmas tractor run is scheduled for December 7th and will commence and culminate at the United Auctions market in Stirling, passing through Causewayhead, Bridge of Allan, Dunblane, and Doune along the way. The event has already garnered significant support, with over £1,700 raised in entries and donations prior to the day of the run, showcasing the community’s enthusiasm for this charitable cause.
