A man has been charged after police discovered £95,000 worth of heroin in various properties across Lanarkshire. The police, acting under warrant, conducted searches at addresses in Catherine Way, Taylor Avenue, and Sherry Avenue in Motherwell, as well as in Arbuckle Road in Plains. During the searches, heroin valued at around £95,000 was seized, along with over £20,000 in cash.
The 54-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the drug recovery operation. He has been released to appear in court at a later date.
