Fundraiser Launched After Death of ‘Angel’ East Kilbride Woman Found Dead in Flat
A fundraising initiative has been initiated following the tragic passing of a beloved woman in East Kilbride. Phoenix Spencer-Horn was discovered deceased at a residence in Glen Lee, St Leonards, earlier this week. Phoenix Spencer-Horn’s lifeless body was found at the Glen Lee property in the St Leonard’s area of East Kilbride on Monday, November 18. Her boyfriend, Ewan Methven, appeared in Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 20, charged with the murder of the 21-year-old woman. Methven did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody pending a future court appearance within the next eight days.
Known affectionately as Phe, Phoenix worked locally at the Strathaven Hotel and Roasted cafe in Strathaven. The news of Phoenix’s tragic demise prompted an outpouring of tributes on social media.
