Dumfries Lions’ Charity Donations Roar to Success
The Dumfries Lions Club in Dumfries and Galloway has spread some early Christmas cheer by awarding funding to seven local organisations, totalling £2,325. President Belinda Thomson and members of the Lions Club were delighted to support these clubs and organisations with funds raised from various events throughout the year, backed by public support.
The recipients of the funding awards included Dumfries Food Train (£300), River of Life Church (£300), Hale and Hearty Club (£250), First Base Agency foodbank (£500), Queen of the South Community Trust (£300), Summerhill Community Centre (£300), and Corberry Pipers (£375).
This generous initiative from the Dumfries Lions Club will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the local community, providing much-needed support and resources to these deserving organisations.
