Residents of West Lothian are being invited to have their say on the future of a prominent community centre in Bathgate. In a notice published recently, the committee expressed their commitment to managing the centre on behalf of the community and its user groups. They aim to inform the community about the council’s proposal, seek feedback, and outline their stance to the council on the community’s behalf.
The Council’s Customer & Community Service Manager, Ralph Bell, clarified that the deadline of 10 January is not for final decisions but for management committees to indicate their preferred option. He emphasised the council’s goal of working collaboratively with management committees to ensure the continued operation and success of these facilities.
