A worker at a petrol station in Larbert, Forth Valley, was left feeling shaken and upset after an attempted robbery with a weapon took place on Sunday evening. The incident occurred on Main Street, Larbert, and the police are now seeking information regarding the incident that unfolded on December 1st.
The attempted robbery took place around 8.20 pm when an individual entered the premises and threatened a staff member with a weapon. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and nothing was taken during the course of the attempted robbery. The perpetrator then left the scene on foot, heading towards Dobbie Hall.
Described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a slim build in his late teens or early twenties, the suspect spoke with a local accent and was clothed in a black top and black jogging bottoms, with most of his face concealed. Detective Sergeant John Hunter commented on the incident, stating, “Fortunately no one was injured but the staff member was left shaken and upset by what happened.”
The police are actively investigating the case and urge anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly interested in reviewing any private CCTV footage or dash-cam recordings that might assist in the investigation.
