A robbery took place at a Shell garage on Kerse Road in Stirling, where a 26-year-old worker was threatened by a pyjama-clad thug wielding a weapon. The incident occurred around 4.30 am on a Saturday, leaving the employee shaken. The criminal, donning pink pyjamas, demanded cigarettes and cash from the terrified woman before fleeing with a stash of cigarettes. Although the worker was unharmed physically, she was left traumatised by the experience.
The suspect, described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old, used a Burberry scarf to partially cover his face. He was seen wearing a distinctive outfit consisting of a black and grey North Face jacket, a pink hoodie or pyjama top, and tartan pyjama trousers. Police have initiated a search for the culprit and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Sergeant John Hunter emphasised the impact of the incident on the victim, stating that while she was unhurt physically, the ordeal was extremely frightening for her.
