To assist affected passengers, a rail replacement bus service will operate between Dumfries and Carlisle.
Additionally, passengers can utilise their tickets on Avanti West Coast services between Glasgow Central and Carlisle, TransPennine Express services between Glasgow Central and Lockerbie or Carlisle, or the number 79 Stagecoach bus between Dumfries, Gretna Green, Annan, and Carlisle.
