Gartmore Village Prepares for Festivities to Celebrate 300th Birthday
Gartmore village in Scotland is gearing up for a series of exciting events to commemorate its 300th birthday in the upcoming year. The celebrations will kick off with a Hogmanay Ceilidh on December 31, where locals are invited to dance into history at the village hall. Throughout the year, a range of activities is planned to mark the village’s milestone. The Gartmore Heritage Society will host talks by Paul Wilson, shedding light on the incredible history of Gartmore dating back to 1489. In addition, there will be a special project called ‘A Snapshot in Time’ in September, where every house in the village and its occupants will be photographed, creating a lasting memory for future generations to cherish.
