Scots couple tie the knot at Glasgow Christmas market in festive celebration

A couple from Scotland recently celebrated their marriage at the Glasgow Christmas market in a festive ceremony. Gemma and James had an intimate wedding with their family at the City Chambers on December 12. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds took a leisurely stroll around the city, capturing beautiful photos and videos to mark their special day. The couple, along with their loved ones, then enjoyed celebratory drinks at Browns on George Square. While at the Christmas markets, groom James spotted the ferris wheel and suggested taking some pictures on the ride.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, Emma, the founder of ‘ur bts bestie’, shared, “We went out for pictures in the evening where James spotted the wheel at the Christmas markets and suggested they went on for some epic pictures and memories.” The couple received warm congratulations from many Glaswegians and paused for pictures, making the experience even more special. Gemma and James, filled with love and joy, were captured on video strolling through the markets and pausing for photos before venturing onto the ferris wheel for unique wedding snapshots.

Gemma looked stunning in a short white wedding dress paired with a cosy fur coat and a short veil, holding a beautiful flower bouquet. James was equally dapper in a black tuxedo suit. Emma, as a wedding content creator, aims to showcase weddings from the perspective of best friends, enhancing the personal touch of the event.

Overall, the couple’s decision to intertwine their wedding celebration with the festive atmosphere of the Christmas market added a unique and memorable touch to their special day. The city of Glasgow provided a picturesque backdrop for the newlyweds to create lasting memories as they embarked on this new chapter of their lives together.
