Scots man who vanished on Christmas Eve sparks desperate police search

A Scots man’s disappearance on Christmas Eve has triggered a frantic police search operation. Duncan McGregor, aged 55, was last seen on Perth High Street at approximately 2:50 pm on Tuesday, December 24. Concerns have escalated as he has not made contact with his family since then and has also missed a significant appointment. Authorities have called upon residents in the vicinity to inspect their sheds and outbuildings in a bid to find any trace of him.

Described as a white male with a white beard, Duncan stands at around 5ft 8in with a medium build. He was last spotted sporting a black jacket, a grey hooded top layered with a light-coloured jumper, black trousers, and brown boots accented by red laces. Constable Cameron Sutherland issued a plea, stating, “We have been reviewing CCTV images from in and around the city centre and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen Duncan to contact us. I would also ask people to check any sheds or outbuildings in case Duncan has sought shelter.”

Anyone possessing information regarding Duncan’s whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland at 101, quoting incident number 1672 dated December 24, 2024.
