‘UFO that looked like an orange ball’ spotted in skies over Scots town

A mysterious unidentified flying object (UFO) resembling an orange ball was recently spotted in the skies over the Scottish town of Alva, Clackmannanshire. The sighting took place just days before Christmas and was reported to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) by an anonymous witness. The individual described the object as a “huge bright object” moving slowly from north to south.

According to the report filed with MUFON, the glowing orange ball was observed without any accompanying sounds or positional lights typically seen on aircraft. The object appeared to be around 200-300 feet above ground level and was visible for a brief moment at 11:23 pm before disappearing suddenly. Although the witness’s son attempted to capture a photo, the camera setting was not suitable for capturing the object clearly.

This incident is not the first of its kind in the area, as the Forth Valley region has seen previous reports of UFO sightings. In 2017, a sighting in Bannockburn left a woman disturbed, claiming to have seen a UFO with unusual markings on it. Subsequent sightings in Kippen in 2018 and Stirling in 2019 further fuelled speculation about extraterrestrial activity in the region.

In a separate encounter in Dunblane in 2020, a man reported a close encounter with a UFO outside his window, describing a bright, noiseless object hovering nearby. The object was joined by two others before slowly moving away in the direction of Doune. These sightings continue to intrigue and mystify residents and UFO enthusiasts in the region.

The latest sighting in Alva adds to the catalogue of unexplained aerial phenomena in Scotland, prompting further questions about the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence and their possible interest in Earth. As reports of such sightings persist, the allure of the unknown and the mysteries of the universe captivate both believers and skeptics alike.

In summary, the recent sighting of a UFO resembling an orange ball over Alva, Clackmannanshire, has sparked interest and speculation in the region known for mysterious aerial phenomena. With past reports of similar sightings in nearby areas, the fascination with the unknown continues to pique curiosity about possible extraterrestrial visitations.
