Armadale Academy’s Charity Committee Supports West Lothian Foodbank
Pupils from Armadale’s Academy’s Charity Committee have once again shown their dedication to helping their community. This time, they decided to extend a helping hand to those in need by collecting donations for the West Lothian Foodbank. As part of their efforts to spread Christmas cheer, they also assembled hampers filled with food and essentials for families within the school.
The committee spokesperson expressed, “We understand the challenges that come with the holiday season, and we wanted to do our part to support those in our community.” In Armadale, the West Lothian Foodbank has assisted a significant portion of the population, highlighting the importance of such charitable initiatives.
The students meticulously curated a list of recommended donations, focusing on providing food items with longevity and including treats like selection boxes, chocolates, and sweets to bring some joy during this festive season. They believe that everyone deserves to experience happiness and good health, especially during this time of the year, and they are thrilled to contribute to this cause.
This heartwarming gesture from the Armadale Academy’s Charity Committee showcases the power of young minds coming together to make a positive impact in their community. Their dedication to helping those in need is truly inspiring and serves as a reminder of the importance of generosity and compassion during the holiday season.
