Cops launch frantic search in effort to trace missing woman, 23, who vanished on Hogmanay

Police have initiated a frantic search in an attempt to locate a missing 23-year-old woman who disappeared on Hogmanay. Daily Record reported that Nicole MacKenzie was reported missing from the Oban area. Authorities from Police Scotland are seeking assistance to find Nicole, who was last seen in Glasgow city centre on New Year’s Eve. Described as 5’ 7” tall with short blonde hair, Nicole’s last known location was in the North Frederick Street area of Glasgow on 31st December.

Sergeant Graeme Greenlaw of Oban Police Station expressed growing concerns for Nicole’s well-being, prompting officers to conduct extensive investigations to locate her promptly. He urged anyone with details on Nicole’s whereabouts to come forward and contact the authorities. Individuals with information are encouraged to reach out to Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3875 dated 3rd January 2025.
