The 50-year-old driver of the Hyundai was swiftly transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, with medics describing her condition as serious. The road was closed for about two hours as investigations were conducted. Sergeant Fraser Easton stated, “We are continuing our enquiries to establish the full circumstances. I would urge anyone who may have information or dash-cam footage which could help to come forward. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2258 of January 8.”
