Nicola Sturgeon, the former First Minister, has set her sights on attending the Golden Globes in two years’ time alongside her friend and writer, Val McDermid. When asked if she drew inspiration from fellow Scot Richard Gadd, who recently won a double award at the Golden Globes for his show “Baby Reindeer,” Sturgeon responded positively, saying, “Absolutely – do you think we’ll be at the Golden Globes next year? Maybe the year after.” Despite passing her driving test just over a year ago, Sturgeon opted for soft drinks at the event while McDermid indulged in something stronger. Sturgeon quipped, “I’m going to have a drink. It makes it easier to be driven by Nicola.”
