According to expert Katarina Szulc, who specialises in Central American criminal cartels, the notorious drug gangs have expanded their reach to Canada, leading to a surge in the distribution of the dangerous “zombie drug.”
In a recent discussion with podcaster Julian Corey, Szulc highlighted the global nature of these criminal organisations, emphasising that their illegal activities transcend national borders. She shared insights from her interview with a member of the Sinaloa cartel operating in Vancouver, British Columbia, who was overseeing fentanyl labs in the region. Szulc expressed astonishment at discovering the cartel’s presence in her hometown, noting the widespread and relentless nature of their operations.
