Stirling-Based Charity Marks 20 Years of Supporting Communities with Bicycles
Recyke-a-bike, a charity initially founded in Fallin in 2005, is celebrating its 20th anniversary of providing essential support to those in need in Stirling. The charity, now based in Causewayhead, offers recycled and re-purposed bikes to the local community at affordable prices. In addition to its core recycling initiative, Recyke-a-bike has extended its reach by delivering ‘bikeability’ sessions in schools and providing training in bike mechanics and retail.
To promote active travel and reduce wastage, Recyke-a-bike enables people in the area to hire regular and e-bikes for free for up to 25 days.
