Skoda’s Enyaq SUV and Coupe Models Reviewed, Hyundai’s Inster Cross Pricing Revealed
In a recent episode of John Murdoch’s Drive Time, Skoda’s new all-electric Enyaq SUV and Coupe models were evaluated, with the UK launch set for next spring. The pricing for Hyundai’s Inster Cross model was also unveiled. The starting price for the new Skoda Enyaq SUV will be £39,000, while the Coupe models will start at £46,200. The Enyaq range includes SE L, Edition, and SportLine trims, all equipped with a 13-inch infotainment screen with sat-nav and driver assistance systems.
With a range of up to 365 miles, the Enyaq supports rapid charging at DC fast-charging stations, allowing for a 10 to 80 per cent charge in 28 minutes. The luggage capacity ranges from 585 to 1710 litres in the Enyaq and 570 to 1610 litres in the Enyaq Coupe. New features like a QR code in the boot, an integrated ice scraper and tyre tread gauge, and mobile phone pockets enhance convenience. Orders for the Skoda Enyaq models open on March 6, with deliveries expected later in the spring.
Additionally, Hyundai announced pricing and specifications for the Inster Cross, the outdoor-focused variant of their first small SUV EV. Priced from £28,745, the Inster Cross features a 49kWh battery with a maximum power output of 115ps and a range of up to 223 miles on a single charge. Charging time to 80 per cent capacity is 30 minutes, and the Cross comes with a battery heating system and high-efficiency heat pump as standard. Hyundai offers a comprehensive warranty and safety package with all Inster Cross models.
