The new store boasts a sales area of 1340 square metres, making it one-third larger than its predecessor, which had been serving the community for almost 28 years.
It is noteworthy that planning permission for the demolition of the old store building, dating back to the 1980s, and the construction of the new modern replacement was granted by South Lanarkshire Council three years ago. The store will maintain its previous opening hours, catering to customers from 8am to 10pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on Sundays.
