A woman has accused Ali Al Fayed of sexual assault at the family’s sprawling Balnagown Estate in Scotland. The woman, known as Frances, has come forward with disturbing details of an alleged attack at the hands of Ali Al Fayed at Mohamed Al Fayed’s estate in Easter Ross. Frances, who worked at Harrods in the 90s, claims she was sexually assaulted by Ali at the farmhouse he occupied on the estate. This revelation surfaced as three former employees of Harrods, including Frances, accused the now 82-year-old of sexual assault while they were working at the luxury department store.
Frances disclosed that prior to the alleged assaults by Ali Al Fayed, she had experienced bullying and sexual abuse by Mohamed Al Fayed, including unwanted advances and demeaning behaviour towards her. Despite her lack of experience, Frances was assigned to renovate Mohamed’s Balnagown Estate, which led her to encounter Ali’s alleged assaults. Frances recounted incidents where Ali Al Fayed tried to kiss her, groped her, and made sexual advances towards her, causing her immense distress and anxiety.
Frances claimed that Ali Al Fayed sexually assaulted her on several occasions, including one incident where she was allegedly assaulted in his private office during a visit to Balnagown. The distressing encounters left Frances traumatised and with lasting emotional scars. Frances highlighted the impact of the alleged abuse on her mental health and well-being, expressing her struggle with anxiety and panic attacks as a result of the traumatic experiences.
Police have revealed that a total of 111 women have made allegations against Mohamed Al Fayed, prompting further investigation into the matter. Ali Al Fayed, who resides in the US, has vehemently denied all allegations of wrongdoing, stating that the reported incidents never occurred. The women who have come forward with their harrowing experiences are pursuing civil legal action against Harrods through Justice for Harrods Survivors, seeking justice and accountability for the alleged abuse they endured.
