The Poulsbo woman had to flee her property after 50 to 100 raccoons descended on it, displaying aggressive behaviour, as reported by police. According to Kitsap County sheriff’s spokesperson Kevin McCarty, the woman had started feeding a family of raccoons decades ago, but in recent weeks, the number of raccoons showing up increased drastically from a handful to around 100.

The homeowner was advised to contact wildlife control operators who could capture and remove the animals from the property.
