The fire erupted in a three-storey building in Hampshire and quickly spread to neighboring homes, requiring the intervention of 60 firefighters and 10 engines to bring it under control. Following investigations, the fire service attributed the fire to the e-scooter’s battery, highlighting the risks of leaving such devices unattended while charging indoors.
