A 16-year-old girl mysteriously vanished in 2005, only for her body parts to be discovered in a freezer of a Colorado home two decades later. The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado unearthed this horrifying revelation in January of this year while looking into reports of a suspicious incident.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the head and hands of a human in the freezer, which had been stumbled upon by someone claiming a free appliance from the new owner of the house that was recently sold. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has now identified the victim as Amanda Leariel Overstreet through DNA testing. Amanda was believed to be around 16 years old at the time of her death and had not been seen or heard from since 2005.
Shockingly, DNA records revealed that Overstreet was the biological daughter of the previous homeowner.
