WWE star Dave Bautista tears into Trump over ‘tough guy’ pose: ‘Weak, tubby toddler’

WWE star Dave Bautista has taken a swipe at Donald Trump’s “tough guy” persona, labelling the presidential candidate as “a weak, tubby toddler.” Bautista, known for his wrestling career and roles in blockbuster films like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and James Bond’s Spectre, expressed his opinions on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

During the show, Kimmel discussed a New York Times poll showing Trump leading Kamala Harris by 17 points among male voters. Challenging Trump’s image as an alpha male, Bautista appeared in a segment from the gym and debunked the myth of Trump’s toughness. The former wrestler highlighted Trump’s use of makeup, dodging the draft, and his physical appearance, likening his gut to “a garbage bag full of buttermilk.”

Furthermore, Bautista ridiculed Trump for portraying himself as a cowboy fireman while questioning his actual strength and courage. He concluded by playfully listing Trump’s alleged fears, including rain, dogs, and actress Meryl Streep, ultimately branding him as a “weak, tubby toddler.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Kimmel mocked Trump for claiming to be the “father of IVF” during an all-female town hall on Fox News. The GOP candidate’s statement was later clarified as a joke by his campaign, as Kimmel humorously dissected the town hall’s contents and Trump’s newfound stance on IVF.

As the controversy unfolded, Vice President Kamala Harris also chimed in, deeming Trump’s self-proclaimed title as “quite bizarre.” The exchange on the late-night show adds to the ongoing political discourse surrounding the upcoming election and Trump’s unconventional statements.

The entertaining yet critical commentary from Bautista and Kimmel underscores the intersection of pop culture and politics, offering a unique perspective on the personalities and personas involved in the presidential race.
