St Johnstone secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Ross County, with Benji Kimpioka shining with a brace against the nine-man visitors. The match marked St Johnstone’s first league win at McDiarmid Park since December 2023, sparking celebrations among the home fans.

The St Johnstone players certainly reflected the glory part as they dominated the game, making it a relatively easy three points. The breakthrough came on the 16th minute when Kimpioka netted the opening goal from close range, following a low cross from Clark. Despite County’s protests for a foul in the buildup, the goal stood after a VAR check. The visitors’ task was further complicated when Elijah Campbell received a second yellow card for a late challenge, reducing them to ten men.
Kimpioka extended St Johnstone’s lead with his brace, coolly finishing a chance at the back post. The home side continued to press, with opportunities coming their way. However, a goal from Clark was ruled offside, preventing them from further extending their lead.
The match took a turn for the worse for Ross County as substitute Charlie Telfer was sent off just minutes after coming on. St Johnstone sealed the victory with a late goal from substitutes Mackenzie Kirk and Graham Carey, ending the game with a 3-0 win.
