The Usual Place, a social enterprise cafe established by Heather, has provided invaluable support to young individuals with additional needs, with Heather’s leadership instrumental in raising over £1 million to transform a former church into a thriving community space. Following Heather’s retirement, Craig McEwen has taken on the role of chief executive at the charity, continuing its mission to empower and uplift young people.
