A hillwalker had to be stretchered off a Scottish mountainside by rescue volunteers after suffering a leg injury in freezing conditions. The incident occurred on Ben Venue near Loch Katrine in the Trossachs on Thursday afternoon. The hillwalker, who had injured their lower leg, was carefully placed inside a bivvy bag by the rescue team to keep warm in the harsh weather conditions before being carried down the mountainside.
