Lanark Lanimers 2025: Queen Elect Maisey and Court Announced
The Lanark Lanimers court for 2025 has been revealed, with Maisey Talbot from Lanark Grammar School chosen as this year’s Queen. Ajay Shearer, also from Lanark Grammar, has been named the Lanimer champion. Queen Maisey will be accompanied by chief maids Paris Fletcher and Casey Shaw on Lanimer day, which is scheduled for Thursday, June 12. The court selection process took place in schools across the town, with students gearing up for the upcoming festivities.
From Lanark Grammar, Ava Kearney, Georgia McMillan, and Casey Wilson will serve as ladies in waiting. Jai Teece and Daryl Faulds have been appointed as the first and second lords, respectively. Various roles such as proclamation bearer, sceptre bearer, sword bearer, and crown bearer have also been assigned to students from different schools in the area.
The Lanimer court will include representatives from Lanark Primary, New Lanark, Robert Owen Memorial, and St Mary’s schools. The court members will be joined by outriders, heralds, yeomen of the guard, pages, and a flower bearer to complete the ensemble for the upcoming Lanimer celebrations.
