Upland CIC’s Decade exhibition opens at the Kirkcudbright Galleries, marking a significant milestone of 10 successful years dedicated to the arts in Dumfries and Galloway. Over the years, Spring Fling has brought together more than 80 studios, facilitating the purchase of over £10.2m worth of art and craft and contributing £17.5m to the local economy.
Despite facing challenges such as the impact of Covid-19, public spending constraints, and the cost of living crisis, Upland CIC has continued to elevate the creative community in one of Scotland’s most rural areas.
