Stirling Council has raised concerns about rogue traders targeting residents and businesses in the aftermath of Storm Eowyn, which brought winds of up to 100mph across the Stirling Council area last Friday. The Met Office issued a rare red warning, causing extensive damage to infrastructure and buildings, closing nearly 100 roads due to fallen trees and debris, and leaving thousands without power. The Trading Standards Team also urged the public to exercise caution and not to engage with unsolicited traders.
