An art exhibition showcasing paintings by the Hillhouse and Earnock Art Group is currently on display at the East Kilbride Arts Centre. The Hamilton-based art group, which has been in operation for 21 successful years, was led by former South Lanarkshire art teacher Heather Darling. Invited artists including Yvonne Taylor, Lynn Howarth, and Susan McMillan also contributed to the exhibition.
The free exhibition, running from Thursday, October 3 to Sunday, October 27, features a diverse range of work covering various subjects. There are a total of 60 paintings on display, with most pieces available for sale. The art group offers three classes, welcoming individuals of all skill levels to paint in a friendly and relaxed environment. Members are encouraged to enhance their artistic techniques and knowledge, whether they are beginners or more experienced artists.
