It is important to note that TRVs should not be installed in bathrooms where heat fluctuations from showers and baths can interfere with the thermostat’s functionality. Additionally, setting the TRV to the highest temperature may be inefficient and counterproductive, leading to unnecessary energy consumption. To optimise energy savings, it is advised not to install TRVs in the same room as the principal thermostat, as this can create conflicts in regulating temperature.
