Gustites, 67, now faces charges including third-degree murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and simple assault in connection with the death of his 42-year-old son, John A. Gustites.
The tragic incident occurred at their home in East Union Township, with police responding to a call and finding the elder Gustites on the front porch and his son deceased in an upstairs bedroom from a gunshot wound to the face. According to court documents, the father confessed to shooting his son earlier that morning during a dispute.
