North West has claimed that her mother, Kim Kardashian, has not cooked for her in the past two years. The 11-year-old made the accusation in an interview with Interview Magazine on October 11. North stated that Kim has been absent from the kitchen since “two Halloweens ago.”
During the interview, when Kim asked North if she liked her cooking, North bluntly responded that her mom hadn’t cooked for them in a long time. She specifically mentioned that the last time Kim cooked for them was two years ago. North revealed that on that occasion, Kim prepared mac and cheese, fried chicken, and cornbread for her and her siblings – Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
North also mentioned that while Kim’s cooking was good, she preferred the snack her mom often makes, which is cucumbers with salt. Although Kim did not dispute North’s claim, she has previously stated that she cooks for her children despite having a private chef. In May 2023, Kim corrected her daughter Chicago when she said that her mom doesn’t cook. Kim shared a photo of herself making an Armenian-style pancake to prove that she does cook.
In the interview, North also shared a memory of her “best day” being in Italy with her father, Kanye West, and her younger siblings. She recalled teaching her siblings how to pray during their time in Italy. Kim, who split from Kanye in 2022 and divorced in 2023, expressed that the memory sounded like an amazing day, even though she was not part of it.
