EU Condemns Attacks on Peacekeepers in Lebanon
The European Union has strongly condemned the recent attacks on U.N. peacekeepers in Lebanon and rebuked Israeli authorities for accusations claiming the U.N. peacekeepers were hindering military operations against Hezbollah. On the global stage, New Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has voiced strong condemnation of Israel’s targeting of U.N. Peacekeepers in the region. Luxon underscored the international outrage over the attacks on peacekeeping facilities and stressed the essential role played by peacekeepers in maintaining peace along borders.
