Jake E Lee, born on February 15, 1957, in Norfolk, Virginia, began his music career in San Diego with his first band, Teaser. He later joined the heavy metal scene, playing with bands like Ratt before joining Ozzy Osbourne’s band in 1982. Lee contributed to Osbourne’s albums like “Bark at the Moon” and “The Ultimate Sin” before leaving the band in 1987.
Following his departure from Osbourne’s band, Lee founded Badlands in 1988 with singer Ray Gillen. After various musical projects, including Wicked Alliance, Lee formed Red Dragon Cartel in 2013, releasing two albums: a self-titled debut in 2014 and “Patina” in 2018.
