Chris Pratt criticises Hollywood peers for their ‘negative attitudes’
In a recent panel at Comic Con in New York, actor Chris Pratt expressed his frustration with Hollywood peers who exhibit bad attitudes on set. The 45-year-old actor, known for his roles in films like Passengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, emphasised how negativity can impact the work environment for everyone involved.
During the panel discussion for his upcoming Netflix sci-fi movie, The Electric State, Pratt spoke alongside co-star Millie Bobby Brown and directors Joe and Anthony Russo. He didn’t hold back in his criticism of actors with bad attitudes, stating that there is no room for such behaviour in the movie-making industry.
Pratt highlighted the detrimental effects of negative attitudes on the filmmaking process, suggesting that those who bring a bad attitude to set may not last long in the industry. He emphasised the importance of gratitude and a positive mindset, particularly in an environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential.
The actor revealed his lack of sympathy for individuals who struggle to appreciate the opportunities afforded to them in the entertainment industry. He questioned why anyone would find it difficult to enjoy the experience of filming and suggested that having a bad attitude undermines the privilege of living out one’s dream.
While criticising those with negative mindsets, Pratt also praised his co-star Millie Bobby Brown for her exemplary professionalism and positive attitude. He commended her compassion for animals and recounted how they quickly formed a strong friendship on the set of The Electric State.
Apart from discussing his co-star, Pratt also shared insights into Brown’s personal life, including her recent marriage to Jake Bongiovi. The actor expressed admiration for the couple, describing them as down-to-earth individuals leading extraordinary lives.
