Police in Edinburgh have released CCTV images in connection with an assault and robbery incident that occurred at the junction between Gorgie Road and Wardlaw Street in the early hours of Thursday, October 31. The authorities are seeking information from the public to identify two men captured in the footage.

The first individual is described as a white male, aged between 19-20 years old, approximately 5’8” tall, with short, thick dark hair and facial hair. He was seen wearing a dark zip-up jumper with a Fred Perry logo, socks, but no shoes. The second man is also white, aged between 18-19 years old, standing between approximately 5’11” and 6ft tall with short brown hair styled upwards. He was wearing grey jogging bottoms, yellow and purple Nike Dunk-style trainers, and a black hooded jumper.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland urged anyone who may recognise the men or have information about the incident to come forward. Those with relevant details can contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1439 of October 31, 2024. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
