Mike Beale, a Perthshire resident and founder of Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), has recently been awarded the prestigious title of “Trustee Of The Year” for 2024 in the Air Ambulances UK Awards of Excellence. Beale, a former headteacher of Perth’s Craigclowan School, played a pivotal role as one of the charity’s founding trustees when the service was established in 2013.

The accolade recognises Beale’s unwavering commitment to the development and expansion of Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service.
