Following his second-place finish behind Norris at the Singapore Grand Prix, Verstappen expressed confidence that Red Bull is on the right track towards improvement. Despite the recent challenges, Verstappen remains positive about the team’s progress, stating, “I do think we are moving in the right direction now, it will take some time.” He acknowledged the positive steps taken in Baku and believes that further improvements are on the horizon as they strive to regain their winning form.
When asked if he believes Red Bull’s slump is a thing of the past, Verstappen affirmed, “Yes, I do think so to be honest.” He emphasised the complexities of Formula One development, mentioning how teams navigate different approaches to car development.
